Labour Party Campaign Director beheaded at home

Unknown assailants beheaded the Campaign Director of Labour Party (LP) during the 2023 general elections in Uturu, Isuikwuato Local Government Area of Abia State.

Former Campaign Director-General was reportedly murdered and decapitated in his home in Uturu by men wearing masks who eventually fled with the severed head dripping with blood.

According to the Abia news portal ALL FACTS NEWSPAPER, "Maduka Zachary, also known as Power Zac, was murdered and decapitated in his home in Uturu, and his head was removed by his killers."

The report, which was made public yesterday, Wednesday, September 13, 2023, did not specify when Power Zac was murdered. He was also the campaign director for the Honourable Member Representing Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency, Honourable Amobi Ogah.

According to the report, the slain grassroots political leader "was part of a security team fighting against the rising cases of kidnapping along the Uturu axis of Isuikwato Local Government."

He was also the Chairman of the Home Branch of the Uturu Union.
