Just In: Frank Mba, other DIGs redeployed with immediate effect + New postings

Inspector General of Police Olukayode Egbetokun has immediately reassigned all Deputy Inspectors General of Police.

The notification of redeployment was encoded in a signal observed by The Eagle Online early on Tuesday morning.

When contacted by The Eagle Online, the Force Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, refused to affirm or deny the redeployment.

Assistant Commissioner of Police Adejobi simply responded to The Eagle Online's WhatsApp message with, "A statement will be issued soon."

According to the signal from the Inspector General's Secretariat, DIG Bala Chroma will supervise the Department of Finance and Administration, while DIG Frank Emeka Mba will oversee the Department of Training and Development.

DIG Habu A. Sani has been reassigned to the Federal Investigations Bureau. DIG Usman D. Nagogo is now in charge of the Department of Logistics and Supply, while DIG Habu A. Sani will supervise the Department of Information and Communication Technology. This is Daniel Sokari-Pedro.

DIG Ibrahim Sani Ka'oje will oversee the Department of Research and Planning, while DIG Ede Ayuba Ekpeji will oversee the Department of Operations.
