Dr Kinsley Azonobi, a Private Estate Developer and Chairman of Domak Group International, has called on Nigerian youths to forge a new direction by reinventing their thinking.

Azonobi made the call at a one-day National Transportation, Environment and Public Safety Summit on Tuesday in Abuja.

The Estate Developer and Chairman of the summit, lauded the Nigerian Youth Congress (NYC)for coming up with such initiative.

"I am happy the NYC has come up with this great initiative to discuss policies, not politics, to discuss the way we should be thinking, to discuss the way governance should be operating,'' he said.

Mr Anume Osuamkpe, Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Commander, noted that road safety should be everybody's business.

He said when crashes occurred, the youth suffered most because they were more mobile.

"That is why it is important that the youth and the rest of us must put hands together to make sure that our roads in particular are safe.

Osuamkpe further listed the programmes of the corps which are beneficiary to the youths and why they should be engaged.

Mr Blessing Akinlosotu, President of the Nigerian Youth Congress, noted that the gathering was an indication of their readiness to partner the government and private stakeholders.
