2023 Presidency: Group mobilises youths for Gov Bello

A group of youths in Nasarawa state under the aegis of Yahaya Bello Network (YBN) has promised to mobilise youths for the presidential ambition of Gov Yahaya Bello of Kogi state.
The Chairman of YBN in the state, Mr Ibrahim Ibrahim, gave the assurance at the inauguration of the state secretariat of the group in Lafia on Tuesday.
Ibrahim said that the drive for the mobilisation of youths in the state was due to the competence and youthfulness of Gov Yahaya Bello.
He noted that if elected as president of Nigeria in 2023, Bello would ensure the full involvement of youths in the governance of the country.
"He is the youngest among the 36 states governors in the country and we have seen some potentials and admirable qualities in him.
"So we gathered here to open our office with the goal of mobilising youths and making this office as our point of convergence.
"Anybody who wants to have any contact with Yahaya Bello or support our drive to mobilise youths for him can reach out to us here," he said.
Ibrahim said the group had already started mobilising support for the political aspiration of Gov Yahaya Bello in all the electoral wards in the state through youth and women mobilizers.
"We have gone far in achieving our goal. So far in Nasarawa state, we have three representatives in each electoral ward across the state and these people are there in the grassroots working for Yahaya Bello," he said.
Ibrahim added that aside the representatives in the electoral wards, the group has several social media influencers working assiduously for the group to achieve its youth mobilisation drive for the Kogi governor.
"We also have elders supporting us because we can't just do it on our own. So we had to bring in elders who are helping us and guiding us with elderly advises.
"Right now we have more than 5,000 youths that have already registered with us and shown commitment towards the aspiration of Yahaya Bello.
"With these committed membership, we are confident that more youths will join this movement and we will succeed giving the fact that youths are clamouring and saying this is the time for youths," he said.
