Supreme celebrates Evangelist Meg Austen Ariodere @ 60.

Birthdays mean a lot to different people. For some, it is the constant reminder of the fickleness of time. For others, it offers an opportunity for sober reflections and self-evaluations.

For Meg, particularly, it represents one thing above all others: Gratitude.

As noted by Meg “I am grateful for a lot of things. My life has been nothing short of God’s overflowing grace. Frankly, there were times I felt like the world was turning upside down. There were times I doubted myself, my resolve to turn my ideas into reality, to start and finish a project. But I have always left all my cares and burdens to God to come through for me, and He always has.

I am grateful for the man God placed directly in my life. My first and only love. My knight in shining armor. My support system. My personal angel. My husband and daddy. His love, affection, care, and support for me is undeniable.

I am grateful for the gift of children. They’ve been nothing short of amazing personalities, and I am happy to see them do wonders in their various fields. I am grateful for the gift of grandchildren.

I am grateful for all my family members (far and near), my friends, spiritual leaders, well-wishers, and everyone that has helped, one way or another, to shape me into who I am today.

But importantly, I am grateful that I’m alive to mark another birthday that I can feel it already that is going to be a good year, in spite of everything that is happening. A good year, not just for me but for all. “
