Super Falcons defeated Banyana Banyana by a lone goal in the first leg of their qualifying match at the MKO Abiola Stadium, Abuja.

Former Nigerian International, Bright Omokaro, has charged the Super Falcons to adopt team play to defeat Banyana Banyana of South Africa in the second-leg of their Olympic qualifiers tonight.

Supreme News reports that the Super Falcons defeated Banyana Banyana by a lone goal in the first leg of their qualifying match at the MKO Abiola Stadium, Abuja.

Omokaro said Tuesday in Lagos that team play, determination and cooperation could lead the Falcons to victory against their opponents in South Africa.

”The Super Falcons need more determination, collectiveness and team play to defeat Banyana Banyana on their soil.

“They should be determined and focused to win the match and shun any form of intimidations from their opponents,” he said.

The former ex-Super Eagles’ player also praised the Falcons their performance in their first-leg match in Abuja.

He advised the players to be resilient and determined to win the away match.

According to him, the Falcons played well in their last match and need more efforts and determination to defeat their opponents on their turf.

Supreme News reports that the Super Falcons are looking to get their first Olympic ticket since their appearance at the Beijing 2008 Olympics.

They failed to feature at the London 2012, Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020 games.

The Falcons will hope to get at least a draw in the second leg of the tie in Pretoria.

The winner over the two legs will pick one of the two African tickets to the Paris 2024 Olympic games.

Morocco or Zambia are fighting for the other ticket.
