Tunisia won against Nigeria with a score of 1 in the game which was scheduled by 8pm on Sunday.
Tunisia will later march on and look forward to a quarter-final clash against Burkina Faso on 29 January.
Nigeria will turn to the Qatar 2022 WC qualifying games in March where the Super Eagles will face Ghana and with a new manager in Jose Peseiro on the bench.
