He implored youths not to give up on life, no matter the challenges they faced, but pray to make more impact and affect souls.

The Jos Resident Pastor of Shepherd House Assembly International, Rev. Tajan Moltok, has expressed concern over the increasing menace of lust among the nation's youths.

Speaking in a sermon, entitled "Revival" on Sunday in Jos, Moltok said the unbriddled quest by youths for material acquisition had become a national problem.

He said the ugly trend had led to rising cases of ritual killings, armed robbery and other ungodly acts.

He, therefore, advised the youths to exercise restraint in their quest to acquire wealth.

According to him, youths should be patient and diligent in their endeavours as God is the rewarder of hard work and will grant them their heart desires.

"Pursue righteousness and flee youthful lust. If you are diligent in what you do, God will honour you.

"If you are a student, be patient. Be humble, if you are learning a trade under someone, do not feel you know better," Moltok advised his congregants.

He decried the "get-rich-quick syndrome" by youths and urged them not to see life as a competition.

"Everyone has their time and path. If you flee from youthful lust God will use you mightily," he said.

He implored youths not to give up on life, no matter the challenges they faced, but pray to make more impact and affect souls.

Moltok defined revival to mean "restoration of vigour, an improvement in the condition of a situation or person".

He, therefore, prayed God to restore those who have lost their jobs, businesses and marriages.
