The Rivers State Police Command wishes to inform the general public, particularly the Indigenes of the State, that the Inspector General of Police, IGP Mohammed Abubakar Adamu, NPM, mni has approved the recruitment of police constables into the force.
Consequently, the command is inviting suitably qualified Rivers Indigenes to avail themselves of this opportunity by getting enlisted into the Nigeria Police Force.
2. The general requirements for enlistment are as follows:-
a. Applicants must be Nigerian citizens by birth and must possess the National Identification Number (NIN) and must have passion for the Police with the determination to make a career in the Force
b. Applicants must be Indigenes of Rivers State.
c. Applicants must possess a minimum of 5 Credits in not more than 2 sittings in WASSCE/GCE, NECO, with credit passes in English Language and Mathematics.
d. Applicants must be within the ages of 17-25years
e. Applicants must be medically, physically and psychologically fit, and must not be less than 1.67m tall, for males and 1.64m, for females.
f. Applicants must not have less than 86cm (34 Inches) expanded chest measurement for men only.
g. Female applicants must not be pregnant at the time of recruitment.
h. Applicants must be free from any pecuniary embarrassment.
i. Applicants must be of good character and must not have been convicted of any criminal offense
j. Applicants must print their completed online forms, guarantors’ Forms and submit same at the Examination/Screening and recruitment centres.
k. The applicants that meet the requirements from the online registration will be invited for the physical screening at the command headquarters, Moscow road Port Harcourt from 24th August – 30th August 2020.
l. The names of the successful candidates will be published in selected National Newspapers on 14th September 2020 and other platforms.
3. A candidate who is suffering from any of the under-listed abnormalities or deformities shall not be accepted for enlistment into the Nigeria Police Force. Impediment in speech, gross malformation of teeth or jaw preventing proper mastication of food. Knock knees, bow legs, bent knees, i.e knees which cannot be straightened when standing at attention. Deformed hands which cannot perform the full functions of the hand. Defective eyesight or squint eyes and amputation of any part of the body.
METHOD OF APPLICATION
4. All Applications must be submitted ONLINE
Applicants must have a functional email address and National Identification Number (NIN) before the application is commenced. Visit www.policerecruitment.gov.ng Fill and submit the online Form (review the information before final submission). Ensure that you print the information that is sent automatically to your email, and do not forget to copy and save your REGISTRATION NUMBER for future correspondence.
The NUMBER is case sensitive, please. Applicants will be required to present a hard Copy of email message sent to them if they are shortlisted and contacted for the next stage of Recruitment process.
WARNING: No Email and/ or Phone Number can be used more than once in this Application. Applicants with multiple applications will be disqualified. The Nigeria Police Force shall not enter into any correspondence with candidates for this exercise aside from its portal or candidates emails.
