POEM: Now! Now!! Now!!!

If only I could get your attention now

I would bare my mind before it takes a bow

Now I mean, don’t tell me later

Am tired of hoping, standing, like a waiter

Let me feel your love now, this time not from your lip

Quit telling me stories for once it makes me sleep

When money comes you can get me silver or gold

For now I would appreciate bronze, before I get old

At least show me love now, I mean now! Now!! Now!!!

Stand with me right now, be my pillar

Come off your shell, support me even in winter

In good times and the opposite be my Eve

Just like a religion, in me alone you should cleave

Even when the whole world sees me as useless

Look me into my eyes and say ‘that’s their business’

Cry with me now, don’t tell me you’re coming

Starve with me for now, before joy comes in the morning

I need your love more, I mean now! Now!! Now!!!

Worship me now before I send mails to the stones

Is anything too hard for me when I gave life to dry bones?

Praise me now and always, can’t do that for myself

Stop being greedy and lustful all you think of is self

You keep asking for good health and plenty wealth

But you never remembered me in the days of your youth

Even with empty pockets serve me with true passion

Unlike earthly gods I need not your money and mansion

Love me while you still breathe, and I mean now! Now!! Now!!!
