Mr Tony Muonagor, an aide to Gov. Willie Obiano of Anambra has joined the police campaign to end cultism, substance abuse and other vices among the nation’s children and youths.
Muonagor, who is a Special Adviser to the Governor on Diaspora Affairs, Indigenous Artworks, Culture and Tourism, was on Thursday unveiled as an ambassador of the campaign.

Speaking after his unveiling at the Police Campaign Against Cultism and Other Vices (POCACOV) Resource Centre, Enugu, he lauded the Inspector-General of Police, Mr Mohammed Adamu, for the POCACOV initiative.
Muonagor, popularly known as ‘Tony One Week’ and gyration music artiste, pledged his support to the campaign for youth value re-orientation via POCACOV.

“I am optimistic of using POCACOV modalities to reach out to various communities and counter narratives of cultism and other vices among children and youths.
“We need to join hands with the police through POCACOV to re-orient our children and youths for a safer society tomorrow,” he said.
Earlier, CSP Ebere Amaraizu, the National Coordinator of POCACOV, thanked Muonagor for identifying with the campaign designed to rescue children and youths from the claws of cultism and substance abuse.

Amaraizu said that POCACOV is a community-driven campaign that uses persuasive approach to re-orient misguided children and youths and cut the chain of cultism and substance abuse initiation.
“I urge you to continue to remain focused.
“POCACOV wants you to bring in those contributions that can help to turn around the mindset of our children and youths to positive ventures,” he said.
