Nigerian Famous Designer DHABRI-KHENCHY to be Awarded in the US.

Popular Nigerian-US based Fashion designer Kelechi Emenyonu, principal and founder of the Dhabri-khenchy craft designing firm will be Awarded by the Mayor of East Orange Council, New Jersey, United States.

The prestigious award comes as a recognition to his iconic selfless donations of dozens of African-inspired printed facemask at the peak of Covid-19 pandemic ravaging the world.

Mayor Thed. Green of East Orange Council and his deputy Christopher Awe were amognst beneficiaries of the gift at the time America was still in great shock amidst the peak of the pandemic.

As noted by Kelechi, “There is fulfilment in giving” and that has paid off which he described as a passion to him. I will do even more with my special God-given talent as my support to humanity and as a way of giving back to the community”.

It may be recalled that prior to the Pandemic outbreak, he has offered the youths of East Orange Community in a Free Arthisanship training as part of his personal obligation .

KHENCHY will be Awarded this weekend on the 60th Anniversary of Nigeria Independence flag raising ceremony to be held at the city of Orange Council hall alongside other notable achievers.
