Nasarawa State Government, says it is committed to the provision of portable water to the people of the state.

Alhaji Mohammed Muluku, the state Commissioner for Water Resources and Rural Development stated this on Tuesday while playing host to different groups in his residence in Nasarawa Eggon LGA.

He said that Gov. Abdullahi Sule’s administration has prioritized provision of water and would continue to provide water to the people of the state.

” He who provides water provides life as human beings cannot sustain their lives without water.

” His Excellency, Gov Abdullahi Sule’s administration is committed to the provision of water across the state,” he said.

Muluku called on the people of Nasarawa Eggon and the state at large to continue to give their maximum support to Gov. Sule’s administration to succeed.

” This is to enable you and other citizens enjoy more dividends of democracy.

” His Excellency and other leaders need our support to succeed,” he said.

He urged them to continue to live in unity , be law abiding and respect constituted authorities for the overall development of the state.

The commissioner pledged his readiness to continue to provide all inclusive leadership in the state.

” My door is always open, let’s work in unity and synergy, that is the way we can take Nasarawa Eggon and Nasarawa State to the next level of development, ” he said.

Besides, he called on Muslims to use the Ramadan period to pray for the peace, progress and development of the state and the country at large.

Earlier, the District Head of Alogani ward, Mr Sabo Akpe, the Spokesperson of Bakyano community, Mallam Abubakar Suleiman among other groups said that their visit is to assured the commissioner of their support.

Supreme news reports that the different groups also assured the commissioner of their readiness to continue to support Gov. Sule to succeed.
