The Electrical Dealers International Market Obosi, under the leadership of Mr Chike Onunkwo, on Friday inaugurated a 350-meter by-pass road in Obosi, Idemili North Area of Anambra.

Onunkwo, while delivering his speech during the inauguration, disclosed that the road was initiated and completed by the traders.

He noted that newly inaugurated road would help to ease transportation challenges and enhance access for both customers and the traders themselves.

The chairman appreciated his member for the opportunity to serve them, as he appealed to the traders to take advantage of empowerment programmes of the state government for their good.

Performing the inauguration, the Chairman of Idemili North Local Government Area, Chief Stanley Nkwoka, described the initiative as a major boost to local economy.

Nkwoka extolled the electrical dealers for been true partners in progress, assuring them of a more business-friendly environment, in line with Gov. Charles Soludo’s policy.

In his remark, the President-General of Anambra State Markets Amalgamated Traders Association, (ASMATA), Chief Humphrey Anuna, applauded the traders for their bold developmental strides.

Anuna urged the traders to remain united and reminded them of the importance of partaking in the state government’s “One Youth Two Skills” empowerment programmes aimed at eradicating poverty across the state.
