Bingham university gets new Vice-Chancellor

Bingham university, in Auta Balefi, Karu, Nasarawa State, will get a new Vice-Chancellor (VC), effective from Jan. 8, 2024.

The new VC is Prof. Haruna Ayuba, who will succeed Prof. Barnabas Qurix.

This is contained in a statement signed and released to the newsmen on Thursday by the institution’s Director of Public Affairs, Misal Daburi.

According to Daburi, the institution’s Board of Trustees (BOT) appointed Prof. Ayuba as the Vice-Chancellor to take over from Prof. Qurix, whose tenure expires on Jan. 8, 2024.

He stated that the appointment of Prof. Ayuba followed the approval of the recommendations of the University’s Governing Council to the Board of Trustees.

“Prof. Ayuba, a seasoned Professor of Biogeography and Environmental Science, was the immediate past Deputy Vice-Chancellor in charge of Academics at the Nasarawa State University, Keffi.
