Police uncover fake alcoholic drinks manufacturing company, arrest 4
The police command in Lagos Statehas uncovered a company that allegedly deals in fake alcoholic drinks.
The command also arrested four suspected perpetrators of the crime.
The command’s spokesperson, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed this in a statement on Thursday in Lagos.
Hundeyin said that operatives from the Isokoko Police Division, acting on credible information, raided a house in Agege, where the fake alcoholic drinks were allegedly being produced.
He said that the police arrested four people behind the alleged illegal distillery at the venue.
He added that the police recovered fake drinks, empty bottles, and labels from different brands.
The spokesperson said that an investigation into the case was ongoing, adding thatthe command had sealed the premises.
