Credo by eTranzact has expanded its reach in southern Nigeria through a digital payments campaign across three key commercial hubs in Port Harcourt.
Omokorede Amund, Product Marketing Manager, in a statement on Sunday in Lagos, reveals that the campaign helps small businesses shift from cash to secure, traceable transaction methods.
Supreme news reports that the firm held a roadshow in partnership with Eligbam City, attracting hundreds from the informal retail sector.
Amund noted that many participants had never used digital point-of-sale or reconciliation tools prior to the event.
“Over several days, the fintech team visited Garrison Computer Village, Rumukalagbor Market and Rumuomasi Market with live demos and business support sessions,” Amund said.
He said Credo wasn’t just a payment tool but a way to build confidence in the future of small businesses.
He explained that the activation tackled key concerns, including transaction security, usability and daily settlement issues.
Traders were shown how to accept online and offline payments, track sales, and manage records with the Credo platform.
Amund said fintechs are shifting from digital ads to face-to-face engagement in markets and informal business spaces.
“Port Harcourt is full of hustle and innovation. We met traders where they are to show them real digital benefits.
“A raffle draw added excitement, offering WiFi routers, cash rewards and business tools to encourage participation and provide immediate value.
“For many traders, it was their first encounter with a payment platform tailored specifically to small businesses.
“Credo by eTranzact is designed to support MSMEs and help them navigate the complexities of business growth,” he said.
