The ever bubbling Casablanca restaurant and sports bar in the garden city of Nigeria embarks on a total shutdown after 13 years of consistent operation with effect from Tuesday, 24th March , 2020. The CEO, Mercy Castillo disclosed this to Supreme magazine via a telephone interview.
She said the closure became paramount in compliance and in solidarity to the Rivers State Governor’s directive amid the COVID-19 outbreak that all bars, eatery, night clubs e.t.c operating in River State should be closed. This is to limit the spread of the pandemic.
She appealed to her esteemed customers to take the closure in good faith as a measure to cub further spread of the virus. It’s a huge sacrifice we must all pay she laments.
Asked about her possible re-opening, she said the business will await further directive on possible resumption of businesses by the Government. In the interim, she advice her patrons to keep a close eye on all Casablanca social media handles for further updates
