Poem: I JUST REALIZED IT WAS LOVE

It never let me rest, always my heart was humming

I only get satisfied seeing her face so when she is afar i just start fuming

When she talks I just listen with delight like its Adele singing “hello”

Everything she suggested was of interest to me and willingly I follow

I bought her ideas and I flourished like a baby who drank tonic

She healed my world like a pediatric and i forgot my worries like a lunatic

Her beauty in my eyes never wearied for a moment like Mandela’s glory

I respect and valued her like the easterners do to money

We shared all we could together including our birth month June

If I could buy her everything I would, including moon

We called ourselves friends while the world tagged us lovers

All we did was shake hands, but they felt we kissed on towers

We burst into laughter even when we are silent like our hearts shares joke

And all we could do like its facebook is just poke

How come we never quarreled and fought?

How come nobody rushed to make the first move?

How come we weren’t in hurry to hug, kiss and share cold nights?

Wow I just realized that was love…..
