The Chief Executive Officer of VIP Dental Clinic, Jos, Dr Basil Tochukwu, has advised journalists and the public to attach importance to dental checks.

Tochukwu gave the advice on Monday in Jos, the Plateau capital, during a free dental check he organised for journalists in the state.
He said the week-long exercise, which entailed scaling, polishing, filling and refilling of the teeth, would ensure that journalists maintained good oral health.

In a brief remark, the state Chairman, Nigeria Union of Journalists, Paul Jatau, thanked the clinic for conducting the free check.
Jatau urged journalists to avail themselves of the opportunity to ensure healthy teeth.

Speaking on the exercise, one of the beneficiaries, Kingsley Chuka, commended the efforts of the doctor and his team.
“This gesture is commendable. We appreciate this, coming from a private clinic and reaching out to journalists in the state,” Chuka said.

Another beneficiary, Walde Wudeto, said he had just learnt the proper way to brush his teeth in order to improve his oral health.
