New Plateau NSCDC Commandant assumes duty in Jos

 Mr Stephen Jiyason, the newly deployed Commandant of the  Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Command in Plateau has assumed office in Jos.

DSC Tanimola Obasa, the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of command said this in statement on Tuesday in Jos.

According to Obasa, Jiyason replaces Mr Solomon Olasupo, who has been promoted to the rank of an Assistant Commandant General (ACG) of the corps, and deployed to the headquarters, Abuja.

Obasa added that before his deployment, Jiyason was the Senior Assistant to the Commandant General of the corps.
