MORE THAN JUST GOD

By Kendrick Aziz Christian

They say their god is so big
They only know him for strict commandments
He is like a burning furnace
They fear and never near him
They read he is wonderful
They search for proves to believe
So when they pray he answers not
Like a man whose club lost a soccer final, he is silent
My own GOD is different
He is my best friend so always i near him
He’s more like a brother, when i talk he listens
He is a counselor, silently he advises me
Just like a general manager, he ensures I grow like his business
And like a lawyer he defends me, he needs no witness
What a doctor, he heals me of all ailments without running a test
Like a caring father he chastises me when we derail
Like a committed soldier he fights for me, he needs no backup
But like a true lover he hates flirts, he’s jealous
You keep wondering why I flourish
Your heart tells you I have more than a God
I have only a God, the difference is he is so multi-purpose!
