2023 Election: APC Forum drums support for Gov. Sule
Gov. Sule is developing the state in almost all sectors of the economy, and is still doing his best in the area of security.
The Alago All Progressives Congress (APC) Forum in Nasarawa State has passed a vote of confidence on Gov. Abdullahi Sule's adminisitration and drummed support for APC to continue beyond 2023.
Mr David Ayewa, the Chairman of the forum, declared this on Wednesday during a meeting of the forum in Lafia.
Ayewa, who is the Executive Secretary, Nasarawa State Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board, said the governor had performed in office beyond expectations.
He said the forum had also passed a vote of confidence on Sule and his deputy, Dr Emmanuel Akabe, over what he dectibed as their 'purposeful leadership' in the state.
"His Excellency, Gov. Abdullahi Sule and his Deputy, Dr Emmanuel Akabe, are exceeding all expectations.
"Gov. Sule is developing the state in almost all sectors of the economy, and is still doing his best in the area of security.
"We, and the people of the state are enjoying the governor's dividends of democracy.
"It is in view of this that I am calling on our people and other people of the state to support him (Sule) to succeed beyond 2023," he said.
Ayewa commended the governor for appointing Alago sons and daughters into key government positions in the state.
He called on members of the forum and other people of the state to continue to be law abiding, live in peace and tolerate one another, irrespective of their affiliations for development to thrive.
Also speaking, the Woman Leader of the Forum, Mrs Victoria Bako, assured of their readiness to mobilise support for governor to succeed beyond 2023.
Bako commended Sule for not disappointing the electorate and developing the state in critical areas.
