President of NANS declared missing

The President was allegedly kidnapped, according to rumors spread among students. Others claim that he was detained by security personnel in relation to the turmoil that is roiling the students union. The perfect circumstance, however, is not yet known.

Comr. Faruk Lawal, president of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), is suspected to be missing.

This was stated in an open letter addressed by Comrade Ismail Adediwura Adeshina, Senate President of the NANS.

The NANS Senate President wrote a letter informing the security services and well-meaning Nigerians of the disappearance of NANS President Faruk Lawal. He claimed that on Tuesday, April 10, 2022, around the Maraba/Nyaya Axis, Faruk was last seen.


The President was allegedly kidnapped, according to rumors spread among students. Others claim that he was detained by security personnel in relation to the turmoil that is roiling the students union. The perfect circumstance, however, is not yet known.

The NANS Senate President requested assistance in locating the NANS President from the Department of State Security and all other security organizations.
