Court orders farmer to pay N19,000, bag of millet

A Sharia Court in Kaduna on Wednesday ordered a farmer, Suleiman Tukur to pay N19,000 and a bag of millet to his colleague, Yukubu Usman.

The Judge, Malam Salisu Abubakar-Turera gave the order after Usman prayed court the court to compel Tukur to pay him N19,000 and a bag of millet owed him.

Abubakar-Tureta ordered that the money must be paid by Jan. 31,2022.

Abubakar-Tureta also ordered Tukur to pay Usman N7, 700, being the money he spent in filing the case .

On his part, Tukur had prayed the court to give him until January 2022 to  pay the money.
