Harvard Business School awards corporate director certificate to NGX chairman

The Harvard Business School (HBS) in Boston has conferred its Corporate Director Certificate on Dr Umaru Kwairanga, Chairman, Nigerian Exchange Group.
A statement by the Nigerian Exchange Ltd. (NGX) on Saturday in Lagos said that the award was in recognision of Kwairanga’s successful completion of key executive courses aimed at strengthening corporate governance practices.
Kwairanga completed modules in Audit Committees in a New Era of Governance, Compensation Committees, and Making Corporate Boards More Effective.

Kwairanga told newsmen that he looks forward to leveraging the knowledge gained to further contribute to corporate governance reforms and drive strategic growth in Nigeria.
