Prince Adesegun Banjoko, president, National Association of Block Moulders of Nigeria (NABMON), has felicitated Muslims across the nation, while calling for collaboration by members towards national development.

Banjoko, in a statement on Tuesday in Lagos, prayed for Allah’s blessings for Muslims, Christians, its members and Nigeria.

He said the festival was the celebration of the spirit of obedience and sacrificial faith of Abraham to God’s directive without hesitation nor expecting any returns.

He called for collaboration by its members to attract development noting that both Christians and Muslims were enjoying Abraham’s blessings because he paid the price ahead.

“Development is gradual, and life is a circle of contributions. I contribute, you contribute, we contribute.

“Whatever grace we are enjoying today, is definitely someone else’s sacrifice or contributions in the past and whatever we are lacking today is also because someone who is supposed to contribute in the past did not.

“Therefore, at this teething stage of our growth as a National Association, we are all enjoined to cultivate the spirit of cooperation and sacrificial giving in our contributions, morally and financially, to the development of our association towards a sustainable future.

“I wish you all, happy and peaceful Sallah,” he said.
